About Sonny
Sonny himself is a self taught goldsmith who creates unique piece by hand. His inspirations very much stem from times where the hand work was instrumental to the piece and real time and energy was given to the smallest of details. His works are inspired by pieces of the past such as the Middle Ages, Roman, Byzantine and Victoria eras but with a modern approach.
The Process
In todays age of technological advances the term handmade can be misconstrued, Sonny’s work is truly handmade with no use of any castings, computers or any major electrical tools. Sonny sees value is how long something takes. The ethos from the start was the thought of “Ill simply do what others can’t be bothered” seeing value in the long process of alloying gold and fabricating each and every piece from start to finish giving you a uniquely and truly handmade piece to last a lifetime, and then some.
